Bluebird Day On-tap at Cali Pass Resorts!

Buenos dìas my friends Cup'O'Joe in hand, with the #StokeLevelSoild at 11.9 as we track a few more in-bound rounds of Mother Nature's Natural dropping in from the PNW for the weekend ahead and another round just in time for a Christmas Holiday #Refresh at our Cali Pass resorts. National Blend of Models or the NBM here 👇 Gives us a look at the December 24th - 28th timeframe, showing a potential solid return and refresh of MaNatural.

For today, our forecasts for Dodge Ridge and Mtn High have both resorts starting the day with cooler temps, rising throughout the day; bring an extra layer for the morning session so you can shed a few throughout the day.

Snow conditions, PackedPow at Dodge Ridge, firm to start, softening throughout the day, on-piste groomers, with a little skier compacted off-piste (remember we are still at low-tide), so pay attention when slain turns in the trees.

At Mtn High - Machine made, with the Mtn team working magic overnight, refreshing the terrain. Firm to start, or what I like to call Carvolicous-Cord, awesome for early morning knifing sessions. Clean, sharp edges make for the best carves on the Mtn.

Dodge Ridge Summary: Mild and dry conditions will prevail through Friday. A quick-moving system on Saturday will bring rain and snow, with minor snow accumulations above 6,500 feet. Unsettled weather will continue into early next week, with colder air and impactful snow possible by late Monday or Tuesday.

Mtn High Summary: Dry, sunny, and unseasonably warm conditions, with strong winds tapering off by Thursday morning. A slight cooling trend begins this weekend, and a weak system may bring light rain to northern areas early next week. Snow is unlikely during this period, with temperatures remaining well above freezing. Stay tuned for updates on next week’s potential weather system as the models evolve.

Closed today: Bear Valley Summary: Mild and dry conditions will prevail through Friday, with increasing clouds late in the week ahead of a weekend system. Moderate rain and snow are expected on Saturday, with minor snow accumulations above 6,500 feet. Unsettled weather will persist into early next week, with potentially impactful snow by Tuesday or Wednesday.

China Peak Summary: Mild and dry conditions through Friday, with a warming trend. Light snow showers are possible on Saturday, but accumulations are expected to be minimal. A stronger system on Tuesday could bring heavier snow, lowering snow levels. With both systems, China Peak is on the far south of the storm tract and, therefore, on the bubble. Stay tuned for updates as models evolve.

As we look at the EURO and GFS models here 👇 - The #StokeLevelBegins to rise as Mother Nature opens the storm door over the Holidays!

Take care, my friends, and get out and get some today! The more days y'all have on snow puts you in mid-winter shape for the first big-duck dump #ColdSmokePow day... Stay tuned, and Stay Thirsty for POW Coop
